promo for the next episode, it's more interesting than the series itself , maybe there will be at least some movement, but for now I just want to sleep.. Katarina krashiha, that's it 🌚
I don't understand why I keep watching this. Perhaps I am driven by a slight masochism and curiosity - whether the main character will still have some other facial expression.
So far, this series has interested Neumann in terms of childhood history, he grew up in a violent environment of bullying and without the love of his parents. But he seems to be a decent man, except of course for the murders he commits... Anna is unchanged, acting and the role does not catch on.. I also liked the manifestation of her power on the bridge, according to special effects, at least something, let's look further🙂
I listened to an audiobook - the main character on the screen is the same as there. In some places in the audiobook, Anya is just like Anastasia from 50 shades, to be honest, I spat at times, I don't even know what you can play there, the character is nothing to me.
Katarina is much more interesting and difficult, and the actress performs the role perfectly, the shots with her are visually magnificent, among other things.
The plot as a whole sags in dynamics both in the series and in the book, which is apparently written according to the script (?). Baruch's line in the series is truncated and therefore it was not clear to me who was so stupid as to put a Jewish boy to play chess with a representative of the Reich in the last series (according to the book it turned out that Neuman took his fear and he sat down to play with him, although he was told to keep his head down, it's not obvious in the series). Let's see how the plot will be visualized further, the picture is beautiful, of course.
@Paramelion: yes, but the whole scene in the last episode is shown as if the children show their abilities and their elders sent them there for entertainment, the same Katarina did not mind judging by the look: many people gathered around the chess table in the hall and Katarina passes by as if nothing had happened, meeting walking around the hall, when they show us Anna walking. Well, it's just very illogical. Whether Baruch is afraid or not is not important here. And according to the book, it turns out that no one sent him there, he was told not to light up, but he went himself because of the lack of fear.
As for the audiobook and the series, in one of the articles on KP they write like this: "Others" is not a film adaptation of the book of the same name, published in Bookmate, the works complement each other. The book by Alexandra Yakovleva is based on the script by Elena Voitovich. A comic book will soon complement the franchise.
I will also add that I have a dissonance from the announcement, the photo, the trailer and what came out. In the announcement there are superheroes in the USSR, in fact there are only 2 superheroes (Anna and Max) and they are not in the USSR)))
Some kind of tie-in to episode 5... thoughts out loud: 1) Max promised not to use his powers on Katarina. What is the chance that he will have to? 2) when Max and Anna go through a secret passage, Neumann says "oh, there's even a dungeon there" will they show how someone gets there? maybe Neumann himself
I'm watching the 4th episode and I don't understand why the setting was positioned as an alternative 40s? There is no alternative history, no alternate universe with some kind of steampunk or something in the style of Carnival Row here... All that was there was an airship in the first series, which is like not sewing a mare's tail. 🤷🏻♀️ The fact that a fantasy element was added does not in itself make the setting an alternative...
Otherwise, Katarina is still the only character who evokes emotions. Borukh also, but his story was crumpled up, and in this series he was not really shown at all.
Anya continues to bellow, an absolute lack of critical thinking. The romantic line is still boring. As for me, the focus is not on what is in the book, what is here.
Katarina's internal conflict: Neuman (who is her everything) vs the lives of innocent children (who are already like her own) is much more interesting. 🤷🏻♀️
The series is interesting in places, especially about Neumann's childhood, but still the series still doesn't catch on. But the special effects are not bad, that's a plus. Well, we have 2 episodes left, let's see what happens in them🙃
It was interesting to learn about the German's childhood. That's all. They could have prescribed a mute for Anna, anyway, her cat didn't cry enough phrases. Linda is cool, but it's not a secret anymore)
It's a shame, the picture is beautiful, the idea is interesting, but in the end it's boring and somehow incoherent, the plot seems to be spreading.
I'm not quitting just because there are few episodes announced, I want to see how the season ends. Well, it's nice to look at Linda and listen to Matveev's voice.
The love line doesn't just catch on at all. I hope this is because Neumann is acting out of purely rational considerations and there are no feelings in reality, and not because they could not.
Anna is just no good. Zero character, zero emotions, but everyone tries to approach her. Really Bella Swan.
Why does Neuman speak snake language? as if by actions it is clear that he is telling people, but .. why? We're not watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
There was a 4th episode, but we didn't get any plot development and I don't even know when we'll get it. This series was generally boring, I thought I'd fall asleep while I watched it.
I also don't understand why I'm watching 🤦♀️ There are only 6 episodes in the series, Karl, this is the 4th, and nothing happens, no conflict, no tension, will there be at least something besides a beautiful picture and Linda? And I keep thinking, wouldn't it have been easier to take Matveev to play Neumann... why these dubbed crutches?
@scarcelyinside: The dubbing crutch is not clear to me at all. Well, a foreigner would speak with an accent, like in the book. Why are you dancing with a tambourine?
Gg, too, Khlynina over-sounded by the way, but there I assume that this is because of the actress's little experience, but what about here?
Indeed.... The series evokes some kind of twofold feeling. It seems like an interesting beginning, but somehow it's not that. It's like there's not enough narrative speed or something.
Anna's strength is not entirely clear, what is she doing? Is this telekinesis? And then she drew flowers out of the fire.
The plot with her brother is generally an example of the lack of logic. The doctor's agreement with Anna that she will see her brother, and on you, on the table, a note to shoot. For what? That is, there is not even a clear reason why her brother should be executed.
And the fact that a German was imprisoned by the NKVD is generally some kind of nonsense. No, if we were shown that he used his strength to get into this building, then yes, there are no questions. And so, at least no matter what important pepper he was there, someone would have let him into state institutions of this type.
Maximilian's use of force also raises questions. What is he whispering there? Nothing is clear. Why does the same use of force in Umbrella Academy or the Vampires of the middle lane raise no questions, but here you just look and do not understand.
And again, this mask. As a child, it is clear that this is essentially his gag, so that he does not say too much. But why does Max wear a mask when he's already an adult?
The story of the Jewish boy is also not clear. Why would they take a Jew at all when there is such a policy in the country. What is its uniqueness that they take such risks?
It was written here in the comments that according to the book the boy should not be at the ball, but came because of the hypnosis of the absence of fear. But this sounds very logical, what was shown in the series is not.
In general, there are two ways. It seems like I like the series, and it seems that there is some kind of burden with the lack of a clear plot
Somehow, her brother was leaked too quickly and it is unclear why Anna does not want to look for him there or sort out the issue.. Is a note that could have been fake enough for her?? At first, she and her brother had such a connection, and now for the third series she does not even mention him, does not grieve, nothing... Why is this brother in the story anyway??
In the book, she worries a lot about this, her brother is the only one she had and who could interrupt her during the manifestation of power. She still had these letters, never read by Pekka, and she grieved re-reading them, he was her support and after his disappearance in the depths of the NKVD, she did not believe anyone, Ilyinsky simply tortured her, and then Neuman comes and pulls her out, but she did not immediately trust him, because well, who is he such, and in the series hop hop and already in bed with him, the creators very godlessly crumple the plot for us (
The year is 40, the Second World War is about to begin. We have X-Men in the characters, what are we looking at? At dusk😐 I especially caught roflanka from the way the main character learned how to use the force. Well, you kind of believe in yourself. I should have patted him on the shoulder. And everything worked out right away. She even learned to manage so subtly that she staged a performance in the fireplace. And this vision, what is it? Where is this from? Is the heroine also Mary Sue or something? And this squad is Mission impossible. And what is the point of such blockheads who are cut out with a pistol while behind enemy lines, giving themselves away with a loud shot. This is exactly how a sabotage group should work. We do not provide first aid to our comrades, we continue to drag them through the entire forest. And I wonder how these guys navigate the map? I understand there would be a compass. This is a necessary minimum of orientation in an unfamiliar area. Events happen, where are we coming from? Where it should lead. At least the tracker has some clear motivation, the rest is just hell😵💫
The dam and the old Finnish mill, this is on the Karelian Isthmus, the Volchya River, we are rafting there 🛶 The place is cool, I'll know that wizards walk there.
Kirill Nagiyev? I thought it was the main actor. And it turned out to be some kind of hairy schmuck in a helmet, in the second episodes, whose face was never shown in close-up.
, maybe there will be at least some movement, but for now I just want to sleep..
Katarina krashiha, that's it 🌚
Katarina is beautiful, there are no words. I'm only watching because of her 😎

everything that was smeared into four series could be packed into a maximum of two,
from the fact that the plot stands still, the characters are annoying more and more with each episode,
GG especially
