Well, there's only one episode left and even xs..It feels like they were filming stupidly to take it off. the idea seems to be good, but the implementation is somehow weak 🧐 Katarina is still beautiful, and Fomenko is still, it's a pity he's not enough..He's good here.
I liked this series more than the others, because Anna was at a minimum, and I didn't have to look at the actress's attempts to portray herself for too long... Well, in general, she probably wanted to portray something, as an actress...
Everything is bad: the mise-en-scenes, the locations, the acting, the painted backdrops, like a hundred years ago. The most important thing is that there is no plot logic, even moronic. Dialogues are a separate horror. Poor Baron Stieglitz, how did he look at all this? I read a book, which seems to be an adaptation of the script, is very weak, but the series is just a frank hack. Famous actors couldn't save it all.
It's very bad, the book is cheap reading, but even there it was more understandable, there was more logic, everything is crumpled here, from the category - well, if you don't understand something, read the book, your expectations are your problems. I don't see any outstanding game from Lapins, which everyone writes about, the same tearful face as in the "survival game", Anya with this eternal "YES, I DIDN'T WANT TO" God, calm down already, it seems she learned to control herself, Baruch was killed like a coward, according to the book his death was much it is better described. Watching this series is like eating nails - it's not a necessary painful activity at all.
This is the most boring episode of all 5.. It's not interesting and doesn't reveal anything much, the one episode that remains, I don't think it will solve much. I think the advertisement for the series was more interesting than the series.
I was pretty blown away by Boruch's death in the book, because then it's not clear why his whole storyline? Just so that Anya would be very upset? Well, that is, just the deaths of children, even if they are not familiar enough, is it not enough for Anya? It was as if the line was going somewhere and it was taken and cut off.
In general, if Anya irritated the previous series with her naivety (read, stupidity), then she wanted to drag in this one.
Katarina is still Van Love. Although she is pathetic in this series, especially after meeting Likholetov.
In the book, the meeting Catherine and Vanya was also described more interesting than shown here, there is generally better written her character, besides she's a nurse, and she darning Likholetova, and then "why don't you like anything myself" 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
@nadiamalevich: Oh, between us girls, the book is not a masterpiece of literature in the plot either, but yes, many lines are made much deeper in the book. For example, the same Likholetov squad with animal nicknames.
Even Anya was not so annoying, because she continued to feel the loss of Pekka very hard. It's a lost and meaningless thing to compare, imho, because in general, the plot of the original source is lame.
@nadiamalevich: the original script here, both the book and the series were made on it in parallel, as far as I understand. It's just that the book in the format turned out to be more detailed in details and characters.
I think I've realized what's bothering me so much about this series. Well, apart from the obviously disgusting dialogues and, in half the cases, terrible acting. It's as if they are trying to sell us a serious series "for adults", where an unusual and intriguing setting was promised, interesting plot twists of the Game of Thrones level, as well as everything that goes with it (like costumes, scenery, camera jokes, etc.). And in fact, this is a fucking and absolutely low-grade young adult. With a disadvantaged and very "special" GG, on whom a lot of troubles are falling, with a strong and, of course, insanely handsome man who has been waiting for her all her life, and everything else. And I have nothing against YA as a genre, but I would like: a) better quality; b) not to deceive expectations; c) not to try to sell one under the guise of another. P.S.: acting, if you can call it that, the main character is still a complete slag.
The last episode remains, but there is no interest in the series, I'm looking to finish watching and find out how the stories of some characters will end.
I wish this game would end soon. I don't understand at all why they decided to film "this" when there are a huge number of books by our authors with a more elaborate ent and characters...
I also did not understand why Borukh was killed. It's kind of dumb. Why did gg even see him in her dreams then?🤔
@darynme: I caught a hard facepalm when I saw the hands of our main telekinetic heroine in the blood. Did she operate on Baruch there? Up to her elbows in blood
I also caught myself thinking that it was the right thing to do. When Ivan is asked, do you have a family? He answers: I was, meaning my comrades who were killed by Neuman. His wife deserves better, to be honest. Although according to the laws of the genre, I'd be surprised if it works.
The first episode, when you look at the time. There is very little left, and the plot has hardly moved from the starting point. In general, you can put 4 points for the visual, and everything else is very weak.
I haven't read the book, but the only thing I didn't like and killed the series for me. This is the fact that one of the elite squad could not hit any children and stood rooted to the spot. The second elite warrior lost to an ordinary girl in a fight (Katarina). Fuck did they even send them like that
When I saw that kinopoisk was filming a series called "Others", I was very happy, because I thought that they had decided to film Lukyanenko's Watches. But no, it turned out to be some kind of pseudo-punk about superhumans. Well, after 4.5 episodes (I did not master the fifth, it's just torture), I can summarize: a complete failure. There is no plot, no atmosphere, no acting. There's nothing here at all. An absolutely empty set of scenes that were still somehow tolerable before this series. There was supposed to be a battle for the castle, but small children and one woman killed two "super soldiers" and captured an experienced fighter who had gone through the war) I realized that I finally lost interest when GG ran to cry over Borukh's corpse, and I watched and thought: how disgusting it is spelled out.
@Kaifatishko: It's interesting that the posters were positioned like a steampunk setting, even these airships in the first minutes of the series. In fact, from steampunk there is only the muzzle of the main villain
The further into the forest .... The more examples of the lack of logic. The pumped-up, super-secret M squad, saboteurs, professionals in sabotage in the very rear of the enemy. That's probably how it should have been. Which, in fact, is a bunch of nervous warriors. Well, okay, the NKVD officer also got into this hall full of children, but the mustachioed commander of the group just opened fire like a hysterical woman.
I have money, an interesting idea, excellent camerawork, I wish I had a screenwriter suitable for this series. It's a pity that it became just a passing series.
Personally, I was amused by the fact of the sex scene: I slept with a man and immediately began to control my powers. In general, girls, if everything in life goes according to plan, then we are looking for another man... Among the advantages of the film, I can mention the beautiful cast, and cool costumes (I really like the mouthpiece on Katarina's finger).
@id148593986: if I'm not mistaken, she seemed to have started controlling them even before intimacy, when they were talking on the bridge. But it's still like a click, of course. And not without Neuman's participation, so the tips about the "life-giving man" are playing with new colors with might and main. :)
I didn't like Borukh from the very beginning, so I don't feel sorry for him at all. In general, it is unclear why his line is in the series. It's frustrating that there is no scale, scenes in the same locations have already been shown in a series.
I still don't understand why there are so many pauses between dialogues Okay, the action just dilutes everything else. But to watch how they just walk, for what it is not clear.
Katarina is still beautiful,
and Fomenko is still, it's a pity he's not enough..He's good here.
Katarina is almost insanely good ❤❤❤❤❤
