I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that the main character is the mother of actress Jamie Lee Curtis. Now it's clear who she has such a cool figure in.
The sudden drama at the end, to be honest, took me by surprise. But it happened purely because such a turnaround happened for the first time in the entire series and it was somehow unusual to see it, however, like everything new. It adds some kind of high morality to Colombo and it's sooo cool to be perceived. The actors played great, from the very beginning there was some kind of trick in this lady, but it was difficult to figure out which one. The way she couldn't remember his last name - at first it seemed to me that it was because she just had the wind in her head and she didn't remember unimportant people because of her stardom. And that's how it turned out. But the best actor is undoubtedly a Dog. Not every stuntman will dare to smear himself with ice cream and not try to lick it off during takes. <3 The comedy subplot with the "passing of shooting standards" hits the nail on the head, it was very funny to see it. To my taste, they completed it quickly, they could have paid a little more attention to it. But the way all sorts of department employees are looking for Columbo everywhere is very funny.
"She checked the papers and there was indeed a mistake in the computer. - Well, I told you so! - In fact, you have not passed the standard for not five years in a row, but ten."
And the finale pleased me: unexpectedly and dramatically.
