European horror directors who have fallen on fertile North American soil definitely have their own unique style. On the one hand, their projects cease to be the toughest, almost impossible to watch experiment on the human psyche (and often the stomach), and, on the other, they still do not become sissies, crossing boundaries that the average Hollywood horror can not afford to cross.
