In the first few minutes, Aronofsky picks up an electric drill, puts it to your temple and presses the start button. And with each turn, mathematical sequences, Jewish trends, stock market forecasts and the progressing madness of the main character are screwed into your brain. And it turns out to be a movie that I have no idea what to say or how to say. A black-and-white paranoid techno thriller interspersed with body horror, crazy editing and cheerful musical accompaniment. It sounds very tasty, but how painful it is perceived.
Well, if you look at it from the other side, it's also about what kind of dirty horror is going on in the head of any genius tech guy.
