Sure, there are far more franchises than seven, but these are the ones that have survived eras, recasting, and different fashions. They still collect billions and remind us that sometimes audiences don't mind watching the same thing — as long as it's entertaining.

The first fantastic cosmo movies are so primitive. It's like watching a 50s movie. Either the budget is very small, or the technology at that time was insufficient for this kind of film.

Of course, there is charm, charm, and the charm of the space saga.

But how all the scenes are drawn out! Such a slow narrative

@ИльяГалантик: this is the trouble with films of that time. I also watched a movie recently, and at first the orchestra played for 8 minutes, but he didn't have much to do with the movie. 😅

I disagree about the primitive, it's 1979. The scenery is weaker than in the Star Wars of those years, but I think there's a smaller budget here.

@Dori_Grey: The budget here is three times more if you compare the first full-length film of the PO and the first film of the ZV. But this is explained by the fact that at that time it was already a popular franchise and only Gene Roddenberry asked for a dime, probably as half of the budget. Well, plus already recognizable actors at that time+
But I agree, the special effects are not much better than in the series - although there is a 10-year difference between them.

@Irena_Turner: and this is partly explained by the fact that many have seen 4-6 episodes of the video already with remastering of the visual, which even seemed to be two). There is no such thing here and it is unlikely that there will ever be, and it is not necessary.

I love these old movies with the original cast.
They have their own charm, and weak special effects don't distract you at all, as the plot details are spelled out to the smallest detail, which is what attracts this branch of the universe!

I like that this is another such long series, which is spoiled only by a long, long and drawn-out narrative at some points, for example, when sucking on the first type of Enterprise. And the rest of the graphon has become better, now we at least see what is happening, it is extremely pleasant :D

And do I understand correctly that Spock wanted to go through the Kolinar rite, but could not, and as a result, this adventure and the mind merge??? with the car, did it make him understand that completely dry logic turned out to be very dull for him and does not carry that research vein, for which he loves space? And that's why he took his human side, because without it he can't have the desire to learn new things, strive for it, be brave to take risks for this, and tease doc, because why else would he live X))

And also, of course, the denouement is so unexpected that I even laughed, while somewhat predictable hd It's like you meet a huge liner, which is actually a baby boat for a bath and all this whopper is needed only to make the boat comfortable hd
