Overview
In this classic German thriller, Hans Beckert, a serial killer who preys on children, becomes the focus of a massive Berlin police manhunt. Beckert's heinous crimes are so repellant and disruptive to city life that he is even targeted by others in the seedy underworld network. With both cops and criminals in pursuit, the murderer soon realizes that people are on his trail, sending him into a tense, panicked attempt to escape justice.

to some extent, this is a masterpiece of world cinema. but nevertheless, it's a very
creepy movie. and considering the year of its release, it's even scarier. this is a film about a maniac who kills girls, who at the sight of a little girl immediately loses his mind and turns into an animal that is attracted only by one thing..
besides our main character, we also see here the actual power structures, parents, ordinary townspeople and low-class people, they all argue and decide, accuse each other of doing nothing to catch their main problem.
It's a very strong film, I'm thrilled to watch it.
