They are stepping on the same rake for the second film in a row. All the absurdities of the first part are in place.
Also, if some scenes are reversed, then at least there will be some sense. For example, the scene with gifts from Sam (Charlotte Maggi), how does she know the character of these characters? There were no scenes of any of the characters being presented to the villagers. Then there is just the right scene for this, where all the characters at the table share stories, as if describing their character. But this scene is also private and without residents... To move these gatherings to a feast before harvesting in the presence of residents, there will be at least some logic. And instead of a stupid slowmotion with pouring water into a flask, insert at least short scenes of each character's interaction with the residents, emphasizing their character. And this is just the beginning of the movie.
A purely interesting experiment to compare with Director's Cut, which generally will be in an alternate universe... Will he be able to somehow assemble this hodgepodge of future plagiarism claims into some kind of good movie or not... Snyder has huge problems with the world building, so he is skeptical. They promise to release both this year, the first one is possible in August.
Actually, Snyder, who imagined himself a hybrid of Lucas and Kurosawa, shot the dumbest, most expensive and most mediocre action in his career, where both the audience and the actors literally don't give a shit about any of the characters. It's funny to say - if in the first part the only interesting thing seemed to be a robot with the voice of Anthony Hopkins, then in the second even he degraded to the function of "banging once" and equaled the rest of the cardboard mass.
Pathetic idiocy, especially when this circus opens its mouth - apparently there is a pure Snyder without producer supervision, and judging by the ending, it can no longer be stopped - we are waiting for the continuation of the great saga of the great war.
Huh, ugh.
P.S. I was surprised to find that I left a comment on the last part on the series page, because for some reason there are two separate films on the site and a separate season of two series. It's weird, of course, but okay.
A tiny village, which was very clearly visible through the eyepieces when they were aimed, as a handful of farmers, albeit reinforced by super fighters, were able to defeat such a huge army of technical equipment surpassing them so many times in a million) How did they conquer other worlds at all if ordinary farmers gave them cradles
And that fucking slow mo... In the first film, he wasn't so infuriating, but it didn't seem enough to Snyder, and he turned it to the maximum
Very sorry. It feels like Snyder was given a powerful budget, a strong effects team, but you need to be able to merge it this way
I remember the second film about Riddick (Vin Diesel), because despite the smaller budget, he had his own unique army of conquerors of Necromongers with his own non-repeatable design, and not this similarity with the stolen design of Vakhi (not inspired, namely the stolen design)
Yes, it's a pity, it's a pity
What's the point of watching when everything is so predictable and there are no normal graphics, there are no good battles, but only blah blah blah. !
