@DariaSnow: Perhaps these two series cannot be compared with each other. There is a 34-year difference between them: not only completely different time periods, but jokes, a different way of shooting, different incarnations of characters.

If you compare it with the 91-year-old feature film: Christina Ricci conveyed the mystical image of Wednesday better (the external parameters were well suited), Anjelica Huston (Morticia) is especially beautiful in a Gothic role, and Christopher Lloyd's (Fenster) performance can be left without comment (singing the praises of this actor is a moviegoer, and so everything is clear).

But Glen Taranto is incredibly good in the new series - I ran away from school on purpose for him and turned on the CTC. Well, maybe also for the sake of his mustache. :D
