I didn't believe until recently that it could be so stupid.

Even though I spoiled Richard's death to myself, some moments almost brought me to tears anyway. Indeed, it would have been better if he just hadn't returned at the end of last season. Miller created such a wonderful character, and I especially loved him for the second season, but here...

I was also pleasantly surprised by the "appearance" of Richard Poole.

.. I can't understand why the creators of the series needed to make another tracing paper from a True Detective out of a tropical, eternally summer series that was positive, despite all the murders that were taking place. There was usually enough drama before the splash screen and a little bit at the end of the episode. why all this oppressive atmosphere for as many as two episodes? the caste change could be completed with a wedding and a happy departure to the Caribbean sunset of the couple. The beauty of watching Death in Paradise was precisely in its lightness, joie de vivre, rum, beer and the sea, and not in the reflection of its key characters.
