Well, damn...
- Come on, say it like it's true!
- Wahaha!!! My villainous plan would have succeeded if it hadn't been for you nasty kids and your dog Robb Stark!
"But how is that?" This can't be happening! We asked you! You said it was honest, you swore on the October badge! And since it's in October, we didn't check you further!
- Oh, yes!!!! Stupid English girls! I'm sitting here pretending to be a ninja! But I'm actually an engineer! A genius! Milliampere, herbal tea! I made it all up! I am! This was my evil plan! Muahaha! How well I deceived you! Call me Professor Moriarty ibn Bender Bey! And now it's your turn to drive. Bring me a Sherlock!
Well... Somehow... Well I do not know... Was her pride soaring that she was "underestimated and overeager?" and she decided to tell? Well, imho, in such situations people behave differently... I don't know, in short, if the beginning was still relatively realistic, the ending looks like a fairy tale.
But it's definitely worth watching.
PS. It was only at the beginning that I was confused by Madden's rather strange makeup (as if they were covering up his tan).
To move away from a person whose psyche has been distorted by the war, has PTSD, problems with self-control and who can theoretically be dangerous for the family in order to protect children, and at the same time cover him so that he can continue to work with his PTSD, and not rot away useless to anyone in civilian life - this, of course, only a woman will do- rubbish.
At the same time, not getting divorced and letting them communicate calmly with children and take them to their grandmother is also a classic behavior for a trash woman.
Until the last moment, I thought that the minister would come out now, but then again, this is the BBC, the British don't remove such fat cliches.
In general, it's a very decent detective story, the whole series is terribly intense, you can't stop watching. Pyaterochka.
I don't know how to feel about the possibility of a second season, given the discussions on this topic and the high ratings. No matter how they spoil this story with a sequel, it suits brevity. Although, if there are new enemies season after season, then it will be interesting to watch.
