Ella Purnell leaves the asylum in the "Fallout" series trailer
07 Mar
12
All episodes of the first season will be released on April 11.
The trailer is super
According to rumors, Amazon has already renewed the show for a second season. The company itself has not yet confirmed this information.
I really liked the beginning and how everything was served, especially the scenes with Lucy and ghoul.
And yes, I liked the locations, the behavior of the characters is clumsy, but cool. The armor is also great, yes, if you look closely, of course it's like a cartoon, but maybe the authors intended it that way. I don't think they messed up like that, they had one try because of Todd Howard's permission. So the series lived up to my hopes and even more
I don't understand such people who go back to the beginning and spoil the viewing experience for the rest!
Sparks from under the feet of the armor looked especially ridiculous when the armor elements themselves do not cause any impression of gravity, and even these sparks appear out of place and do not coincide with the pace of walking, just sparks from nowhere.

Щас опять камнями закидают :)
On the other hand, while it may be, without much enthusiasm: for some reason the plot was driven into three lines and this plot itself, well, there is nothing to talk about yet. And Jonah's hand is directly visible in places, but I would like the opposite. Well, the leader of the raider is a miskast, well, smart, no charisma, just an old tired toxic aunt.
is the plot about the search for the father again? Where is the music when opening the shelter door? That's the music. again, the same rake as in the gazebo games, regarding the world. The rockets fell two centuries ago, and people couldn't even build a village push, the poor devils shit in the tires and bury them. Where is the war, the war never changes? Where is the war at all? Five minutes into the game, they farted and drove off. You're joking...
That's the way!!!
We will be watching
Where this came from in 2296 is anyone's guess.
I don't understand why some people are excited about costumes and graphics. It's all unnatural, some kind of cosplay. The power armor feels like foam. At least ask the creators of Robocop how to make costumes.
There's not enough trash for a loose thrash. For a serious series, it's stupidity. For a teenager, they immediately started incest about sperm.
The beginning of the end brought me to tears. Goggins is lovely, as always. The rest need to be watched.
To be honest, I didn't think it would be very good, but I'm happy with the first episode. Let's see what happens next)
She's not a deer. She's Bambi. :-)
Ella Pernell is sweet, I started following her after Jinx's voice acting in Arcane, but so far her line was pretty banal, it was clear pretty quickly that these were raiders, they took too long with this intrigue. And then she leaves the shelter to look for her father? Flashbacks from Fallout 3.
The line with the Brotherhood of Steel seemed even more boring to me, but the beginning and ending with Walton Goggins is topsy-turvy, it's most interesting to watch him. I can see Jonathan Nolan's hand right now, again we have a kind of Man in Black from Westworld. I hope there will be more of it later than in the first episode.
But I once proposed a plot not based on these cliches: a naive, kind-hearted soldier of the NKR goes to the east in order to conclude a truce with the BS, because Caesar's Legion is gaining strength and they need help.
And as for the series, they just chose the most banal and safe, partially taking the story from the games.
So far, I haven't seen anything terrible, before the conditional Witcher from Netflix or the Halo series (which are just a nightmare), the series hasn't slipped yet. Although I judge solely by the first two episodes.
it's a shame that after the first couple of episodes, the humor actually faded away. I would like more humor, not just another drama.
Well, the trope with cowardly men and brave women in 100% of modern TV shows is already sickening, to be honest
The line with Lucy is still more loconic and understandable. I don't quite understand how the external, open world works. I take it there will be three gg? Lucy Max and that dude from the coffin.
(I didn't play the game, I actually first heard about the seraglio a week ago, I don't have any information on Laura), so purely on the series, it's not bad, I love the post-apocalypse 🔥
According to the series itself, the actress is normal, the picture is too.
I saw a spoiler beforehand that most of the 33 in the shelter would be dead, but I thought it was more about a virus or something like that. But from the scars of the groom, it immediately became clear that these were raiders. The stimulant, of course, is a direct panacea - stabbed in the stomach, injected, glazed and walks as if nothing had happened, this is the level of medicine) It is only unclear why Maximus's girlfriend was not promptly cured in the same way and did not take her originally rightful place)
, I will not spoiler, but I have from this shelter and from how more and more information is revealed when you read and explore everything there, still goosebumps
Well, yes, the search for a relative is immediately obvious - they were inspired by Todd Howard
Stylistically, it's a total mess!
But in general, the series is not bad, there is a bit of Westworld's vibe. The actors are also pleasant, except that the black actor did not play very convincingly.
And God, what about Nolan/Joy is bored with showrunning. Once I abandoned the World of the Wild West because it was too burdensome, and then the same thing begins, why. According to the trailer at the end of the series, it's just cheerful, but I'm afraid it won't be like that in the series itself.
the pilot is super cheerful, the hour flew by like an instant, these years of waiting were clearly worth it🔥
- Brothers!
It's a rare occurrence for me. I didn't play the first parts and I won't do it anymore. My acquaintance began with Fallout 3. I went through it, like New Vegas, with all possible options and additions. Vegas has sunk into my soul very much, especially the plot with Ulysses - this is the most important plot of the game, and not running around with a House chip. I've been going through Fallout 4 for almost 8 years, I've played 300-400 hours, but the end is not even in sight yet. I've been going through Fallout 76 for a while, but the MMO format kills the solo roles that the Fallout world is so good for.
And I will say that the episode meets all the details of the games. Literally how I ended up in the game. The atmosphere, the music, a kind of incomprehensible society of refuge - that's all the fun bubble gum Vault Tech about fucking life in the post-apocalypse - thank you for not forgetting.
On the basis of the Brotherhood, they say that the enclave refugee will have to be searched for in the Commonwealth. Maybe the whole action takes place in the same place. Is this a rubber Commonwealth?
Where did the airship come from or another copy of it - I'm waiting for an explanation. By the standards of Fallout, this is an exceptional structure on the verge of fiction. Or it's still the board of Maxon, the leader of the Brotherhood.
When Maximus is given a human orientation, it's like I see Michael Emerson from Lost and Person of Interest.
Philip Price, director of Evil Corp from Mr. Robot, is also here. A dignitary of the Brotherhood.
And music. At one point, which I still can't find on scrolling through the episode, the sounds were directly taken from Fallout 4. Inon Tsur and Ramin Javadi, two masters of soundtracks. One in games, the other in cinema. Thank you for such an underlined detail.
Well, in short, we got up from our good leg.
P.S. I am not a fan of Fallout, my memory is good
During the scene with Lucy outside the door and her father on the other side, I was already flashback into a similar sad scene from Fallout 3.
Overall, I like the first episode. A lot of familiar things (the peep-boy is coolly made, the stimulant, the atmosphere in the Shelter), good actors and characters. I like Maximus the least so far, but this is my dislike for the Brotherhood of Steel, and so let's look at him. Lucy is good, I wonder how she will change over time on the surface by the end of the season. Well, the ghoul (these guys got prettier with each part of x) is a favorite. "I'm doing this business out of love for him." I hope they will show more time before the bombs, both in general and personally.
I haven't played all the parts, but New Vegas is one of my favorite games in general, and the third part, even if it's not that good, but it has its own special place in my heart. I don't know what will happen next, but so far there are no special problems, and I'm glad, because I've been waiting for a film adaptation of this beautiful universe for a very long time
I played Fallout and am very happy about the release of the series, the music, atmosphere and ent are preserved. Since the plot takes place after the history of all parts of the folio, let's hope for a good team work.
There was such a strange feeling from the scene, both laughter and horror.
A bunch of memories from childhood, adolescence and adulthood. We live in a modern world, but it's like we've always wanted to live in a post-apocalyptic one. Walking in power armor, shooting plasma weapons, hunting geckos and eating brahmin meat.
I will watch with great interest. The first episode, as expected, takes us on a journey through deserts and shelters, asks questions and directions for the characters. An exciting quest/journey awaits us. Let's keep looking!
To enhance the effect of it)
It came to me, although I did not play folk, but I was special in the genre as a whole
*watched 7 episodes
P.S.: Jonathan Nolan likes bad guys in black cowboy hats.
P.S. I still find it hard to believe that the writers really decided that we all really liked the plot of Fallout 3 with the search for the father, that they decided to repeat it...
Well, the dirty words are really dirty.
I started watching in this voiceover. In the second series, this voiceover truly opens)))
Thanks a lot.
And then, once I watched a TV series about mad mushrooms. Yeah, I had to download one episode with ten Tracks!!! ;-)
I agree with the rest. I watched it in the original, but most of them don't know English or don't know enough, so the question of which voice acting is better is more than adequate.
I got it.
The details of the world were conveyed perfectly. Bethesda in the last game rivets paid customizations as not in itself, so everything fits in perfectly here. Tables, balloons, cars, posters, doorways, etc. I wonder what they will prepare for the raider bases there.
Characters, actions, dialogues - everything is in the spirit of games, especially if you have previously got acquainted with magazines and notes, then there is the same humor, actions without much intelligence. It's fun! Kyle McLachlan as the caretaker of the shelter - his face, as if, was born for this. lol
I will watch with interest what it will turn into next. I hope that there will still be no burnt ones)
I was pleased with the participation of Kyle Mcclachlan, although Laura Palmer has not been noticed yet :D
P.S. I can't believe that anyone from the Enclave is still alive
And I won't say what got me hooked.
I think I can only do a couple of episodes
The costumes of the knights are like toys, it catches the eye
And the question is, is it okay so Lucy went out into the open world to look for dad xs where, alone, is it normal at all?
If you play as a bore. :-)
Then in real life, the squires should generally be 5-10-30 people!
Digging a trench, cooking, maintenance, exploration. Guard the knight around the clock, especially when he sleeps. So that a determined person would not be able to get close together and stick a four-hundred saber on the armor. ;-)
The girl's brother looks like a little 30-year-old man. I don't know why, but it doesn't look like a teenager at all.
And Maximus is as snotty as possible. I don't want to empathize with him yet. It looks the same on the posters. Let's see how his fate will develop further.
P.S. And portraits on the radio in the brotherhood are transmitted smartly in nonograms. The perfect job, I've been preparing for this all my childhood according to my parents' newspapers
The great Michael Emerson is fantastically good, although he appears for a couple of minutes, Walton Goggins proves his skills again, and Kyle McLachlan, perhaps for the first time, in an unusual role for himself.
The topic of nuclear war is more relevant than ever, so the first ten minutes are creepy, then we are waiting for a witty action and an endless, unexplored world of Fallout.
Oh, and Ella Pernell. I liked this actress for a long time, in other projects, but this is definitely her benefit. Great luck for the creators.
Unless you don't understand all sorts of references
I didn't play Fallout.
The series went great. Humor, bloodiness, there is a pity. Realism is not to be expected. Such a specific game clowning. In a good way. According to the plot, everything is explained. There was literally only one scene that I didn't understand.
The three main characters are drawn almost grotesquely. They are so different. Lucy grew up in a small box like this. Maxim, - yes, he's just from an orphanage where Janissaries are raised. The ghoul has been rocking for 200 years! :-)
A good TV show.
a fucking moment!
And in general, the first series is promising.
We'll see about that)
1000 caps out of 10 and one sugar bomb in addition!
I really like that there are a lot of references to the gameplay. I'm not really immersed in the game universe, but I found some interesting moments and it's very cool, this was really missing in the Witcher. The cast of actors is excellent, without excess and balanced, which is also an absolute plus.
There is a separate plus for Ella Pernell, she is very cool!
Точняк. Сходила дева замуж...
1) Why is it so easy to get from one to the other with the interaction of two shelters? even if you do not take into account the raiders, competition/war between shelters for resources, influence or chemical/bio contamination;
2) Why did the flighty aunt easily, in a matter of minutes, manage to get out of the shelter? actually, the lives of all residents depend on this, should there be at least protection in a bank?
3) Why do the survivors on the surface, having equipment and weapons, do not open shelters on a daily basis in order to seize resources and suitable living space?
1) Initially, there was no such thing in the games. There were isolated shelters. Here they came up with the idea of combining them in 3 pieces in one place with separate passages.
2) If you take fallout 2, then the entrances / exits were organized in the form of gateways with double doors. They opened one door, went out into the corridor, the door closes, then the outer door opens and you can already get into the outside world. Otherwise, leaving the shelter has never been something difficult and long.
3) Well, the attack on the shelter is immediately shown. Using brute force to open the shelter is problematic. While you're doing this, the other survivors will kill you and take your resources. Again, after nuclear strikes on the surface, people survived as best they could, they did not have everything right away. So far, all this chaos has passed, while they huddled together, gathered weapons, settled down. Now there are opportunities to open the shelter, but the resources have already run out in it and the chosen ones go outside in search of water, food, and details.
- It's bad, like everyone
else's 😄
The beginning with explosions is creepy. Many scenes are glossy with a large budget, the acting is on the level. This allows you to make clowning charming and with game vibes.
Goggins is powerful, Pernell is sexy and plays great, an actress has grown up (there was no such feeling in Hornets).
In general, there was a desire to install the game on the computer. I love Morrowind and Oblivion from the Gazebo. If the Fallout has a similar gameplay and input data (well, like we create the appearance of the character ourselves and endow it with the right character in the course of the action, rather than playing for an already full-fledged personality), then I'm in, I'll definitely go in.
