Discussion: Season 1, Episode 3 Join the Discussion
1822) ZHENYA BOZHECHKI!!! This is to some extent a very important character for me, I really hoped that she would cheer me up in the series. So it is, she is not only beautiful here, but also generally cute. Let's not lose it all together
3) The second army, which treats Alina well immediately after the first meeting , is strange
4) " What are you doing? She's a spellcaster!" - aaaaa?
5) Zoya became Zoya, but she didn't become Zoya (so now think about what I meant)
6) Alina did not pass the ability test, therefore she did not build a three-hundred-meter stone wall surrounded by a moat with alligators and anacondas, bursting with the flames of a fiery hell, between her "normality" and strength - & amp;gt; what is the drama?
7) Just hug the kid, everything will be fine
Why can't I remember the names of the heroes? Russian language-makes your ears bleed.
I even confuse the Army numbers! The first or the second. Names of cities and countries as in Mongolia)
But this is a bit of a drag. Zvezdets how interesting. The plot is spinning!
Busy :)
And this moment with the kid just killed me on the spot:
- We're all going to die!
- Jesper, grab the goat
"There's no way I'm throwing them a kid!"
- Take it! He's not a bait, it's for you to calm down!Hug the kid and shut up!
(Jesper is just like a state of mind in life!🤣🤣🤣🤣)
Nina and Mathias - oh, how good they are😱💔In the book, I just loved all the moments with them and their dating history.✨
I imagined Zhenya and Bagra differently, but the actresses are good, it's also nice to watch them!))
And how Jasper shot! The scene with the revolvers somehow reminded Guy Ritchie of the atmosphere
I'm too familiar, but I can't remember.
Zhenya, Nina, and Zoya are here... fighting like that, Zoya is just tin. the beautiful scene where Alina tried to fight with her, I was waiting for something like this.
I'm waiting for Nina/Mathias to interact, I've already received this dose of initial hatred between them. I hope that Nina will reveal herself even better next, she is my favorite character in The Six Ravens.
Jesper suddenly opened up to me as a character, in the book I loved him along with the others, but here I really like him. in general, the trio "kaz, inezh, Jesper" pleases the eye in every episode.
Jesper hugging a goat is the best thing I've seen today.
It also kills me that the crows are literally going to kidnap the most guarded Grisha from the most guarded place in Ravka. I don't even know which is worse: this or a book robbery...
- Jesper, grab the goat.
— There's no way I'm throwing them a kid!"
- Just take it! He's not a bait — it's for you to calm down. Hug the kid and shut up!
and the faces of the others))
Well, it's elementary, his paths go all the way to the very end of the Canyon, what, no one saw them?
It would be better if the creators really sent the Scum around.
There is no need to build new tracks, but to put several trailers along its tracks. The same Sturmhond with his ingenuity could have come up with a cool protected carriage.
And with icons on the dashboard!!!))
Jesper and the kid are just the best, hahahp
And yet, I'm looking in English, and Ben Barnes even spoke a little Russian in the scene of Alina's performance))))
Of course, a lot of interesting scenes were cut, but I like it so far
Jesper and the goat are incredibly cute. "So soft!" In general, they did a great job showing my favorite shooter at his worst and best. The shooting scene of the volcr was beautiful.
Also, both Zhenya and Nina are in this series, and both are lovely so far.
And I think all of Alina's love troubles will still have time to get to me, but so far Malu's letters, mixed with these cuts, look quite touching.
Me: - So I already am!
Zhenya is just a sweetheart, I was really looking forward to her appearance.
And Jesper is just one of my favorite characters! I especially liked his hugs with the kid. 😅
And his shooting is a separate art form.
The bagra is exactly what I imagined it to be. Very good acting.
This episode captured my heart. The best so far, but there are still five more to come.
The moment with Jasper and the kid is just the best, I was so worried that the kid was taken as bait🤍
Since I'm one of those who haven't read the book yet, I'm curious about how Alina's powers will develop and how she will interact with the rest of the characters, who will end up being a friend, who will be an enemy.
The Darkling is perfectly matched, this is exactly the kind of character I saw when reading
Nikolai: Good speech. Today will always be remembered as the date of the great ban on herring.
Ah kolenka
Grisha are divided into ethereals, substantials and corporals. Those, in turn, are divided into several more subgroups.
Ethereals are an order of spellcasters, they include squalls, torrential and infernal, and they wear blue. By the way, Alina and Darkling are among them.
Corporals are healers, heartbeats and tailors they wear red.
The substantials are fabricators, they are also divided into prochnikov and wear purple and gray and alkems, they wear purple and red.
Which, again, is not shown, at least at the time of the third episode.
And I'm also glad that I finally saw Nina and Mathias. They seem to be visually good! Waiting for the disclosure line!
And Zoya, what a bitch... But because of the actress, it's still hard for me to perceive her as the main beauty among the Grisha, but the hourly sex scene with Alinka is cool.
And our Brother-in-law is just a pervert priest. That 's how I got to her 🙈
And Alina's attitude is "why are you eating, not destroying the canyon" - wouldn't you fucking go there yourself? 🤬🤬🤬
**
"Jesper, grab the goat!"
"I'm NOT throwing out the goat!"
"Grab the damn goat! It's not bait. It's for you! I need you to calm down. Hug the goat. Shut the hell up."
(in a moment) "So soft."
The way I laughed. :D Probably my best line so far.
**
"The world is hard and cruel. But we had each other, and that was enough. That was everything. [...[ Cardinal north is a direction on a map. True north? True north is home. It is where you feel safe. And loved. You have always been my true north. And if I'm to survive this, I need to be home again... with you."
I don't feel them as deeply, but a) this is beautiful b) this reminds me of Steve Rogers & Bucky Barnes. Yeah, that's definitely them. Home.
P.S.: Ben nailed speaking Russian in my opinion. It wasn't even as half bad as it could have been. My respect for practising how to pronounce it.
Yes, being chosen is scary and a big responsibility, but I would empathize with her more if she really tried to train and study, and it would be obvious how it was gradually exhausting her. And here she seems to be tired in advance and wants her paradise in a hut.
To be honest, in general, the main characters are a little tired of being unhappy with the presence of superpowers. As if none of the fans of fantasy, science fiction and comics would like to have magical powers. And as if there's anything wrong with enjoying your abilities at least from time to time - if a person, for example, is talented in music and has become a famous performer, should he also constantly suffer that he has achieved success thanks to talent, or be offended when his mentors demand to train more often?..
far, and yes, the deer at the beginning of the episode is very beautifully shown.
What about Ravka in the west? Does Peter rule there too? How long has this Rift been going on? Why can't you drive around it? Is Telegram a city or another country? I'm even afraid to disassemble the second line. As I understand it, this is the preface to some big story about a gang... well, let's say this is the most understandable...
How many armies are there? Only two? The first are ordinary dudes, and the second is Grisha? What the hell kind of name is that??? Grisha??? Well okay... Can anyone tell us more about them? Are they just gifted people? To protect the country ? And did one of them create the Rift too?

A great actor was chosen for the role of a confessor. You can see with the naked eye what a nasty guy he is.
And the ones on your forehead you couldn't remove?!
Or as I understood it, the real scars of the actress!?
And that they could not be made up?!
And so in the series, many characters deliver.
But Zhenya is certainly awesome, I can't get enough of it.
And yes, the Jasper scene is creepy. The heroes continue to amaze
Jesper: Right now I'll calm them all down here.
I really like Zhenya, and Nina, my God, she's beautiful! How she fought to the last with the Druskals!
Aprat is just as nasty as in the books. In general, I never cease to admire the excellent cast.
Jesper, with a kid under his arm and a revolver in his other hand, is a separate kind of beauty.
I don't like these changes in the essence of Alina
's character, and I'm not the only one who imagined her letters to be less painful?
from the important:
Bagra , Zhenya, Nina just 💘
The King and Queen are just as disgusting as in the book, imho. Alina's skin looks very strange when she causes light.
What's the story with the train and the rails? How is it possible to build rails in the middle of a Shady Canyon? Are you kidding? The Ravkians would have thought of that themselves.
Russian dubbing: My lord!
ORU)
I knew it was better to watch with subtitles rather than dubbing 🗿🗿
Well, all sorts of concepts from books that I only know in Russian from the "Six Ravens" rather than in English, and there are plenty of them here.
Jesper and the kid are a different story just ahahahah
It's not for nothing that they showed us how Jesper shot the last volcra, will they really tell us who he really is in the series 🤔
I'm a little upset that they didn't show how Alina chose the color of the caftan, how the Darkling wanted her to wear black, but she refused, referring to the fact that she is the same ethereal as the rest of the casters and will wear blue. It would be a strong scene, I think.
I also don't like this innovation a bit, that Alina is half shukhanka, and everyone ridicules her for that too. Although, if you think about it, it's pretty logical that she could be a half-breed, since she was born near the border with Shuhang 🤔
They haven't been given much screen time yet, but I'm really looking forward to these buns. ☺️
Nika and Big Handsome are clearly going to claim the title of the most chemical couple (after Jasper and the kid)
The transition was amazing! And anyway, it's just such an aesthetic and fan pleasure to watch this series.
I'm tired of these letters to Malu, to be honest..
and I wonder why a darkling can't be called a darkling? Where did 'General Kirigan' come from?
Those who haven't read the series of books can't understand a lot of things. But for us "enlightened" people, everything is so simple. I'm soooo glad when this or that frame/moment/scene starts to be shown, and it's just an EXPLOSION OF HAPPINESS that the series was filmed at all.
I imagined Zhenya a little different, but Bagra was a little older, not such a middle-aged woman. Zoya is Zoya, but not like Zoya (bookish). It's hard to explain.
Mal is the only character I've seen completely different, perhaps because of Lee Bardugo's omission of the description of Mal's appearance. Why isn't Clegane a Darkling????
But I haven't finished reading the Six's line, so they can't recognize some of the characters. I know the Trinity, but I don't remember what kind of robbery they planned in the original, but then they connected the timeline altogether, and bam, the Hunt for Alina, nothing.
I like everything! It's just the fact that it's something native, here's the paper version, and here's a treat for the eyes and ears. 💖💖💖💖💖💖
I really liked everything else, Jasper is just love. I liked him in books, but here he just came to life. They gave him some charm and humor, he turned out to be just great. For the third series, the line with six (or so far three) ravens is the best and most dynamic, I would watch the series only about them)
The Darkling is depressing, but it's also depressing in books. Barnes is handsome, but it's not enough to take out the series. I hope they'll add dynamics to it.
The main characters are brought together by racism and xenophobia towards them in childhood.
The series will be great for those who just want to relax and not think about it after a hard week at work.
2) Raspberry
After the scene with the revolver, I recognized the typical book Jasper)
I didn't like Kaz right away, but he's exactly like in the book, sullen, tense, neurotic and under constant control and a thinking head!
That's the only one who should be the typical handsome man in this story, it's the Darkling and he's perfect, the demonstration of his power is endless delight! I also want to see Nina in full force.
I've read it too, I also want to discuss who and what in advance, but let's respect those who haven't read it, spoilers are bad form on Maishow.
I've only read Six books, but the plans after the series were to read Shadow and Bone, and now I've picked up spoilers and I'm wondering if I should?)
Here's everything you need to know about local sorcerers and army training. Funny.
Why doesn't anyone talk about how poorly designed Alina's character is? She is very nervous, everything is exaggerated, her mouth is always open, she goes to the king, staring at the ceiling like a stupid hillbilly. Even with all the surprise she's experienced at the scale of the palace, her character can't behave like that. Trying to show that she's so scared and surprised, they're just doing stupid things, and they're not the same thing.
It was shot perfectly, as they decided to intertwine the plots of the dilogy and the trilogy of the book series - it was interestingly conceived, although there are also some slightly ill-conceived moments here, but one of the central figures of the series spoils the impression very much.
I love books, I was really looking forward to the series, like most of them; I accepted the chosen cast, but this moment is very, very annoying.
Kaz🛐🛐
Inezh
Zhenyaaya
Either the series is like this, but it's better in the books, or they'll just show more later.
But Zhenya Safina is beautiful. Just like the Darkling.
For the sake of these characters, I want to look further.
The trip through the canyon was also good.
But here, in the series, Alina and Mala are a couple, so lively, clean and bright.
And her letters, confessing her feelings, are something😍
As a child, we read about a Saint who would create a miracle of the world and save the whole country. But we knew that these were fairy tales. We knew that no one would come and solve all the problems; that miracles do not happen. But we believed in each other. The world is harsh and cruel, but we were together and that was enough. It was our world.
If there were Saints, they left us a long time ago, and now everyone is looking at me with hope. It's like I'm the miracle this world has been waiting for. Or they know I'm a liar. Impostor. I'm terribly afraid of both failure and success. If I really have this power, then who am I? One of those whom I ridiculed and rejected; a stranger to myself and to you. You said that the scariest thing for you was when you got lost. But you can get lost even knowing where you are.
You were talking about the Far North and the True North. The Far North is a place on the map, and the True, True North is a Home where you feel safe and loved. You have always been my True North. And if I survive after all, I want to go home. To you.
I'm for the Darkling. And the crows, of course, are all great.
And if Slavic names are used, then why don't they bend according to the rules? It pisses me off terribly.
Alina grew up in an unfavorable environment, an orphanage, a half-breed, but she protected Mala, they grew up, he became a normal guy, and once she got into a conditionally unfavorable environment, she lets out snot and behaves like a girl who grew up in a greenhouse, and it's "I want to go home, to the army.".. it knocks me out somehow...
Although the main character doesn't like me, but the environment that really puts pressure on her is infuriating.
The whole story about the girl who was stolen - what's the point of this plot anyway? Why is the whole scenario like a patchwork quilt sewn with white threads
