They won't make her the head, they don't have the slightest reason for that. She was investigating behind their backs, and the fact that she was doing the "right thing" or a couple of agents supporting her doesn't change anything for any boss. Well, she's a woman, and most of them have a head in their ass about that.

Russians at the front communicate with each other exclusively in English. I'm too lazy to nag subtitles.
Gas, as I understand it, is related to Finow? There seems to be a meat grinder there too, similar to a cinema one. I wonder how the last survivor in the hall died: is gas also deadly, or did both just finish each other off in the last one-on-one battle?
It's a pity for Dooley, he was a pleasant character.
P.S. She's a cool spy and all that, but with the flights of stairs, it's too much. There are scenes with such antics where everything looks really cool. It's just fabulous here. Like a fairy fluttering between the railings.

@Xelori: and the picnic itself is too Americanized. I don't think that in the pre-war years, which were not the easiest for the country, people calmly strolled in nature with a basket and a blanket.
It looked too fabulous.

Cool episode! I'm sorry about Chief Dooley, but he made a promise to Peggy, and I'm sure she'll keep it. The table scene is just too much fun :Jarvis is a real gentleman, but for some reason I'm sure Stark will show up again, and at the right moment.
Dottie adds specifically, this scene with the railing looked cool, but somehow implausible, to be honest. Yeah, Stark came up with a cool invention...
Marvel learned how to make TV series. The first season of Agents of SHIELD wasn't lying around at all. Although it may also be the fact that the 50s are shown here, but they managed to convey the atmosphere.

I'm starting with Jarvis' jokes. He's gorgeous. The actress playing Dottie performs her role wonderfully, and makes herself hated.
Well, I can't do without saying that I'm terribly sorry for Dooley. This Dooley is such a bead, even though he used to be annoying sometimes. The last words about Peggy's promise-I almost cried.
The series is great, and I'm already waiting for the sequel. Yes, so far it's better than Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Sorry, Coulson and May, but...

@LUXEON: the short film should have been after the series, because in it Carter moves from SNR to the newly created S.H.I.E.L.D. Another question is why they did not respect him after the events of the series... Well, it was the 1950s, and women weren't much respected back then.

@LUXEON: you can say that the short film is pitching for the series, like Object 47 or, as it was called, pitching for Agents of Shield. She's famous here and there as Cap's girlfriend, but as a woman she's seen as nothing more than a waitress or a secretary.

A touch of British humor in an American TV series - thanks to Jarvis for that! The performer of the role of Peggy is also British, but she has already become Americanized, whereas Jarvis is British in the best sense of the word. Thanks to him, the series becomes much more fervent. Dottie, who is completely frostbitten, is also pleased, although jumping up the stairwell, of course, was too much.
It came out briskly. I hope it will continue in the same spirit or even better.

I don't understand why everyone didn't like jumping on the stairs. She's Russian. As they said in the fifth episode:
- Why are all the beds handcuffed?
- This is Russia.
The whole world knows that in Russia everyone drinks vodka and asks to bring a bottle of bourbon from America. In Russia, it's really more convenient to sleep handcuffed to a bed so that you don't get stolen. Housing and communal conditions are going to hell: elevators are constantly breaking down, you have to learn how to get down quickly in other ways. It's quite an adequate scene!

I absolutely agree. In addition, Dottie is from a "Super Soldier" type of program, something similar to Steve's program (only she had real training, and even since childhood). And for some reason, no one is surprised when Steve does incredible somersaults.
(I'm sorry, but the words "Leviathan" and "supernatural" in one line don't make me think about Agent Carter at all))))
distantskyline

Steve was injected with a serum, thanks to which he heals faster, has good endurance, strength, etc., and Dottie is from the Academy of the Red Room, from which Natasha later emerged in the cinematic universe (this line has not yet been revealed, but at the moment it is), and in the cinematic universe nothing is known about the use of the serum on them, it is only known about training since childhood. Therefore, no one is surprised when Steve does somersaults, and they are surprised here :)

@distantskyline: Well, it's one thing to just have power, and another thing is to use it wisely. This force fell on Steve out of the blue. That's why it's amazing that he learned all kinds of techniques so quickly. Another thing is Dottie, who was raised as a murderer. I think if you've been taught all kinds of martial arts since childhood, then it's quite possible to learn how to climb stairs like that.

I don't pay attention to blunders and other heresy, but to show such stupid and slow agents? How can you send a man with a crutch to a floor where there might be a very dangerous criminal? He may be an agent, but he won't catch up with the criminal unless he kills him with the same crutch first. It's infuriating that men have been made such fools of.
