Somehow it is completely sterile, there are no interesting situations and drama for the whole film; as a series in some anthology it would be more cheerful. And I didn't understand the casting decisions - there are no questions for Maria Mashkova and Kostya Ronin, but why did they take Pilou Asbek, who only makes inarticulate sounds, as the third? It was necessary to go to the end and take a Russian-speaking actor.

I liked it, not without flaws, of course, in the form of Alexei, whom I did not understand almost the whole film. And he also laughed at the end of the film at the messages from the Russians on the display. But in general, it is very even

The film was directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite, who has two very good dramas in her portfolio (which I haven't seen, but the reviews are good), but mostly she makes documentaries. The American cast also includes Chris Messina, who played Captain Gordon Barrett, and John Gallagher Jr. as the cowardly scientist Kristin Campbell. Maria Mashkova was cast as the Russians, making her Veronica Vetrova, Kosta Ronin, a former resident of the USSR, and now an Australian, was cast to play Nikolai Pulov, and his brother, Alexei Pulov, was represented by Pila Asbeck, who was born in Denmark. Apparently the Russians have run out. All this is filmed quite dramatically, although some of the characters' actions look very stupid. I was only pleased that the Russians were not made complete villains, although they were very close to that. The film is practically a propaganda campaign and it is not necessary to take it seriously. However, it is not necessary to watch, because there is no special drama here, or they could not show it. It's just that ordinary staff members are shown what to expect from the Russians. And Pilu Asbek speaks Russian disgustingly — in general it is very difficult to make out something. I will definitely not recommend it, decide for yourself.
