And he had deliberately sacrificed himself for the pirates who had already abandoned him. And now Eleanor, whom I hated, turned out to be wrong - Charles Wayne can grow, can forgive, can show humanity. And he has much more humanity than the same hypocritical Guthrie.
My respect to the creators of the series is amazing, how they staged the whole scene, how they touched our hearts. This death was not epic, as many would like, but it was much scarier and harder. She was real. In deathly silence, even without music. And Zach McGowan perfectly managed to convey everything he had to convey. Rest in peace, Charles Wayne. You deserved better. Nassau will definitely never forget you.
