Description
Mort Rainey, a writer just emerging from a painful divorce with his ex-wife, is stalked at his remote lake house by a psychotic stranger and would-be scribe who claims Rainey swiped his best story idea. But as Rainey endeavors to prove his innocence, he begins to question his own sanity.
This film is based on Stephen King and his work The Secret Window, the Secret Garden. Who has read it, he knows how the whole story ended. The film is finished similarly, which is also pleasing.
The very name "Secret Window" carries a kind of figurative meaning. We all have secret windows into our subconscious, which sometimes open to us. But not everyone is able to get away with what onitam can see. Some people reproach the film with the fact that everything becomes quite clear already in the middle. But in fact, the trick is probably not in this. The salt of the film, in my opinion, is in the psychological aspect, and not in stupidly finding out who the killer is?".
I liked the first 2/3 of the film so much. amazing shooting, interesting plot and plot, I think, wow, who is the killer?
but then it started.. my pain.. I hate endings in which everything is attributed to a person's mental abnormalities. to me it looks like this: yes, we showed you an amazing movie with a bunch of questions and an interesting plot, but.. we don't want to explain anything to you, so let's say that all this was one big galyun of the main character, whom everyone believed and didn't suspect anything, and then.. figure it out for yourself"
I'm upset, I was waiting for some sharp plot twist and an unexpected killer:(
