The film starring Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, and Mahershala Ali will be released in December.
This is really a film for (white) patriotic Americans who do not see the problem of their state's "superiority" over other countries. It doesn't matter who, it doesn't matter which countries, but there are so many enemies that they themselves are lost in guessing which of their "enemies" struck, since the United States is the aggressor for most of the planet. And in the end, the Americans will ruin themselves if this kind of stuff happens from them.
But what's funny is that one of the executive producers are Barack and Michelle Obama. The film was based on a book written by a Bangladeshi American. I think he was writing a book with the message for Americans that their individualism, racism, and so on would destroy them in the end. Everything is for the benefit of the people, and especially the minorities, since they will be the first to suffer there. But the contribution of politicians to the production of the film was most likely in order to influence the people not to overthrow the government and not to succumb to destabilization, in general — for the country and its integrity. Soft propaganda of everything.
And so, yes, the film is definitely for one time. But it was interesting to see that the meaning is really simple and there is no conspiracy.
Have you noticed any cracks on the walls in the apartment? No, from a technical point of view, it is understandable. The film set in an emergency building is under demolition. They painted the wall with blue paint. But the crack remained. During the filming, it started to rain. And the paint fell off the opposite wall. But from the point of view of "rich " spoils the picture. ;-)

Roberts is beautiful as always, I've missed her.
And the plot itself, we watch and remember, is quite a working version of the future.
And then everyone will only have to watch Friends)))
From an artistic point of view, I am delighted with the film - it was shot just super, some shots made my heart skip a beat, the cast and the game just fire, events constantly kept attention and a degree of tension. It's been a long time since Netflix released a movie that's so exciting
Keeps the whole movie in suspense and the last seconds smiled, of course))) I think they are not only to show what kind of girl is completely preoccupied with the TV series Friends, and she doesn't care about anything, but in order for the viewer to exhale after all this tension and realize that this is just a movie and it is not necessary to take it seriously, even if the events may well be real ...
I am also amazed at what Still, this Mahershala Ali is cool!! Where does this aristocratic bearing and movement come from?) And I'm already watching the third movie with him, he's so pleasant and intelligent everywhere)

One can assume that they have such craft rules there. Here's a dear viewer "happy ending". Which, in fact, has never been a happy ending. :-(
And that's the beauty of this movie story.
Here is a peaceful life. A country of long-term litigation, multi-page contracts and small print additions. And then bam! Here you are, two families in a house, and the cold is fierce all around. There are some rules in one life, and others in another. And in order not to die, you need a team the size of a company. To go to the daily guard, not every other day, once a week, but even better once a month.
You can continue the idea even further. In a few days, the conditional Negroes will go on predatory hikes. Because you can. And everyday racism will turn into complete Nazism/fascism. And everyone will flee to their fellow countrymen. By the color of the skin, by the language, by the shape of the symbol on the neck, which is worn for display.
Someone will have time to switch to new living conditions, and someone will not. Someone will remember the old days for the rest of their days. And someone will vehemently deny them!
The film is full of all sorts of crabs understandable to those living in the local cultural code: deer, flamingos, the name of the tanker and don't understand what else. As someone said, in a different place and for a different reason, every T-shirt is dressed with meaning.
1) What is the point of the army bombing New York? How will hundreds of thousands of innocent victims help in the coup?
2) Why did Rose at some point just become a looter and invade someone else's house for no reason?
3) If teeth fall out from the sound, why did it only affect a 16-year-old healthy teenager? And 65-year-old Kevin Bacon has all his teeth in place, just like everyone else.
A cinematic catch. Everyone is afraid of treating teeth. Well, or at least they don't like it. That's how they took it off.
And in real life, to escalate the horrors, you can open any page of the medical handbook. Yesterday it was the little things of life. Because the hospital, pharmacy, shop, light and plumbing were working, and today any scratch is an insurmountable life difficulty. :-(
The ending is not revealed. It's not clear that New York is screwed...well okay
One more question. The girl who invaded the house to the neighbors...
What for? Why?
Although, remembering how she complained to her brother...And my brother behaved like a brute, no wonder! I thought it would be better for her to make friends (try) with the daughter of the owner of the house.

It was at those moments when it was necessary to put the squeeze on and push through this idea that some kind of antics, tears, snot, waving their hands show. It is inherent in the authors at the genetic level that there is no mutual assistance and revenue. And when the director doesn't believe, the actor doesn't believe how a movie can be made about it.
The typical American future is shown perfectly in the walking dead - in the event of a disaster, everyone is for themselves, neighbors will devour each other, and the survivors will hand over the survivors. This is the kind of society they live in :)

But! The phrase "unacceptable damage" is an element of the floating-point equation. And who thinks that the damage is unacceptable? And they consider hopeless bankrupts. And somehow the whole country needs to be reformed in order to live on its own. Well, there are factories, public transport, barracks, lower the standard of living to Bangladeshi!!! There is an opinion that in those parts 60% of the population will simply be superfluous. :-(

The only thing I don't understand is the nature of the noise. I doubt it's about some kind of microwave weapon.
And it's also funny that shortly before the release, Sam Esmail said that this film, along with his previous films, takes place in the same universe as Mr. Robot. Therefore, in the film you can find small references to him. And a cameo by Sam himself, according to tradition)

This is just a psychological attack by those people who want to overthrow the government. just turn on the most unpleasant sounds as loudly as possible. considering that they are sooo close to the city, this shouldn't be a big problem. this is akin to the same copters spreading leaflets on empty roads (!!!).

There was, relatively recently, a life example in those parts - the flood in New Orleans. The authorities were the first to escape; there is a lot of water around, but there is no drinking water; and now food is not delivered to the shops; they saw a crocodile swimming; another story about what the stadium turned into, where refugees were gathered. As a result, after some time, troops who had just returned from Afghanistan or Iraq entered the city. They did something like that there. That experienced police officers, from what they saw, ended their lives by suicide!!!
And it is not known how the story will end in this film universe. It is possible that no one will come to help. :-(

You bet. It's only been two days since the Internet was turned off. The previous way of life was broken on the knee. And then, in the new life that has come, the characters of the film will have many adventures.

You can take the hero's story about the enemy attack as a fact, but to be honest, not everything fits into this explanation, much looks more fantastic than real. And these guesses sound more like a record that is played on TV brainwashing about evil neighbors on the planet. But that's what keeps the film on its toes... animals that either want to warn, or condemn people, they say, well, have you finished playing? war " or they simply understand that people will kill each other for this and occupy a new territory for settling in. All guesses arise by themselves. It's fantastic no matter how you look at the genre indicated, so we'll believe about a super weapon capable of infecting radiation with sound, turning off the connection and making flamingos swim in the pool. And the viewer should realize that in cases of war with strong countries, the whole globe will have a hard time, ordinary people will suffer first of all, and missiles in fact do not care what color your passport is and in what language it is written.
It is very clearly shown how people have become dependent on modern goods... light, Internet, cars, satellites, etc. yes, in the event of the end of the world, it will be difficult for all of us (almost all) to survive, but it is human nature to learn and adapt.
