I have heard statements that "Away" and "The Key to all doors" are almost the same film, but "Away" is not nearly as holistic and logical.
Like here the villains kidnapped the whites because the blacks are superstitious and searched more for hoodoo, and therefore it was harder to deceive them.
And in "Away", the villains kidnapped blacks because.. well, just for fun, black is in fashion, the Negro has more pinus — what other reasons were there called at the party? Because the director wanted to expose all white people as racists.
In the "Key" there is no such agenda even close.
