that's what started the zombie boom, and Romero's career went up. his satirical attack was almost not noticed, but zombies have forever entered the pop culture as monsters. I like to alternate with "Dawn " and revise for Halloween

Despite the low budget, I like this part more than the dawn.

The film still looks good. The plot, its development, the play of actors, monsters, nested meanings. Perhaps an additional part of the merit is in black and white. All good films should pass the test of time like that.
