Of all the episodes, this one is, in my opinion, the hardest.

Periodically, cool familiar actors appear, whom no one really searched at the time of the shooting of the series. Such a treasure trove.

I did not expect such a turn. Generally. I thought they would focus on the fact that the Yankees are completely fucked up: they break into houses, take what they want, because there is no longer the incentive that was in the beginning. Everyone wants to go home. They want to take something with them to make it easier at home, because they understand that no one needs them there. And then bang! And that's the real reason why they fought. Because it's a fascist disease. Because it's terrible. Because she needs to be stopped. I cried on the stage at the camp. And now I'm writing and crying. Thanks to the scriptwriters, who showed not only the heroism and mutual assistance of ordinary American soldiers, but also the horrors that the fascists created. Without it, the story would just be one of the stories about the war.

I'm glad I took the time to watch this wonderful series, it helped me look at things in a new way, rethink a lot. And the series finale is just to tears...
