Description
A father and his son walk alone through burned America. Nothing moves in the ravaged landscape save the ash on the wind and water. It is cold enough to crack stones and, when the snow falls, it is gray. Their destination is the warmer south, although they don't know what, if anything, awaits them there.
It would be more appropriate if in the end a guy who was in a state of constant stress and lost the only person he could trust could not believe that he would be safe with other people and would shoot himself or the person offering help with the last symbolic cartridge.
There would be a clear moral here. That sometimes, by doing everything right at first glance, we can harm the child very much.
— No. It's stupid to ask for luxury in such times... "

A post-apocalyptic drama directed by John Hillcoat, an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Cormac McCarthy.
There will be no large-scale filming, action and intrigue here. It will be a true, terrible reality. The film is despair. The plot is a banal survival. What will a true man, a real father, do for his son?! Yes, for everything! To murder, to be indifferent to other people, to disregard everything and everyone.. If only his son would stay alive.
