I watched the series as a child.
Despite the fact that it was released almost 30 years ago, even today it feels like some kind of cozy homely atmosphere, funny moments, and it's nice to plunge back into it. The series is not outdated at all.

And there is a hole for an old woman (i.e. even an experienced person can make a mistake). The original idiom is A cada cerdo le llega su San Martín (literally, every pig has its own Saint Martin). And the meaning of the Spanish proverb is that everyone will pay for their actions in due course. The origins are taken from the time of pig slaughter at the end of the agricultural season. The Russian equivalent is that no matter how the string twists, there must be an end. In my opinion, none of the proverbs conveys the loss of the cat Alejandra, oh, what a pity for the cat
