Inspector Japp: A suspicious character, right?
Constable: He was quiet and calm.
Inspector Japp: Yes... He's too smart! We've been looking for him for months.
CONSTABLE: He never identified himself. What's his name?
Inspector Japp: No one knows his real name. But everyone calls him "Mad Dog".

Constable (handing things to the "prisoner"): A ring with a stone. One pince-nez. Alone, uh... What is this??
Poirot: A mustache comb
CONSTABLE: For the moustache? Inspector, you didn't say that he's also a pervert.

P.S. But I especially liked how Hastings selflessly ran away when they were burned down by XDD

How old they are already here, and Poirot and Hastings... They played their roles for almost a quarter of a century. It's hard to imagine other performers.

It's like real life has passed in front of us. No makeup or computer tricks are needed - the actors and their characters have really aged.

In the final episode, there is a lot of discussion about life and death - and this is somehow sad. I agree that this is a great ending to a great series, but my heart is sad.

Ahh!! Now I will be tormented by the question, why did they not meet after the case was solved?? why?! He clearly liked her, it was obvious that she also felt affection for him. So what happened?! Why didn't they manage to be together?
P.S. And what an end they made! He has a boutonniere, she has a son, Hercule. Straight to tears ;((
